DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN KEPUASAN HIDUP LANJUT USIA DI PANTI SOSIAL TRESNA WERDHA DI WILAYAH DI YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha merupakan salah satu tempat yang ditujukan bagi lansia yang terlantar, agar lansia tetap dapat memaksimalkan dan menjalani masa tuanya dengan sukses. Dukungan sosial dianggap menjadi sumber yang dapat memaksimalkan masa adaptasi lansia di Panti Sosial tresna Werdha. Indikator lansia sukses menjalani masa tuanya adalah dengan kepuasan hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial (sumber dan bentuk) dengan kepuasan hidup lansia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan sampel sebanyak 83 responden lansia di panti sosial tresna werdha wilayah D.I Yogyakarta. Teknik sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan rata-rata responden berusia 71 tahun dan mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara bentuk dukungan sosial (p = 0,0001), dan sumber dukungan sosial (p = 0,0001) dengan kepuasan hidup. Variabel yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan kepuasan hidup lansia di panti adalah sumber dukungan yang berasal dari teman di panti, penghargaan yang didapatkan, dan jaringan sosial atau pertemanan yang dimiliki di panti. Sehingga semakin baik jaringan sosial yang dimiliki lansia di panti, semakin baik dukungan p yang didapatkan dari teman-teman di panti dan pengharaan yang optimal diberikan maka akan meningkatkan kepuasan hidup lansia yang tinggal di panti.
