With a focus on the case study of the Regional Child Protection Commission (KPAD) of Magelang City, this research provides an in-depth insight into the dynamics of child protection in the digital era. Qualitative methodology and R&D methods were used to test the new cyberbullying prevention and handling model of KPAD Kota Magelang. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods and NVivo 12 Plus software. The results of the research analysis show that the proposed online protection model can overcome the limitations and challenges identified from previous research. It is expected that this research will not only develop an innovative and effective online protection model to protect children from the negative impact of information technology but will also contribute significantly to the development of understanding and implementation of child protection in facing the challenges of cyberbullying at the local, regional, and national levels.
