Author Guidelines
A. General Provisions
- Originality: The manuscript must be original research that has not been published previously in any other publication media.
- Language: Written in proper English.
- Template: Authors must use the official JTP template (MS Word format).
- Similarity: Maximum 15% similarity (plagiarism check).
- Length: 5,000 – 8,000 words (including figures, tables, and references).
B. Manuscript Structure and Format
1. Title
- Maximum 15 words, clear, reflect theoretical and empirical context.
- Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt, Bold, Capitalize Each Word.
2. Author Information
- Include full names, affiliations, and ORCID iD for each author.
- Designate the corresponding author with email address.
- Format: Times New Roman, 10 pt.
3. Abstract
- Length: 150–250 words.
- Content: Background (context, research gap), Objectives & Approach, Method, Findings, Novelty & Implications (theoretical & practical).
- Keywords: 5–7 words (combining theory, context, and analytical concepts).
4. Main Text Sections
4.1. Introduction (Max. 1000 words)
- Begin with a strong hook (policy issue or theoretical puzzle).
- Identify clear literature gaps.
- Formulate research questions (1–2 questions).
- Explain significance & novelty.
- Conclude with contribution paragraph (theoretical & empirical) and paper structure.
4.2. Literature Review (Max. 1500 words)
- Separate Literature Review (critical synthesis) from Theoretical Framework (conceptual model).
- Select specific theory and explain its application in analysis.
- Use diagrams to clarify relationships between concepts/variables.
- Encourage theoretical development contributions, not just application.
4.3. Methodology (Max. 750 words)
- Describe in detail: Research Design (qualitative/quantitative/mixed), Case Selection, Data Collection (techniques, sources, sampling, ethics), Data Analysis (techniques, software), Validity & Reliability, Ethical Considerations (optional), Methodological Limitations.
4.4. Results (Max. 1500 words)
- Separate into: Results: Empirical data presentation (tables, quotes, statistics) objectively. Analysis: Interpretation of results and relation to theory.
4.5. Discussion (Max. 1500 words)
- Core of the article: interpret findings and connect to literature.
- Compare with previous studies (support/refute/expand).
- Explain theoretical implications.
- Discuss comparative insights and generalizability.
4.6. Conclusion (Max. 750 words)
- Summary of main findings.
- Restate theoretical & empirical contributions.
- Explain limitations and future research directions.
- End with a strong sentence relating to broader policy/political issues.
C. End Sections
1. Author Contribution
Use CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy). Examples: Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal Analysis, Investigation, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing.
2. Acknowledgments (Optional)
State funding sources (if any). Example: "This research was funded by Ministry of X under grant no. XXX."
3. Data Availability Statement
Example: "All data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."
4. Conflict of Interest Declaration
Example: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."
5. Ethical Statement (Optional)
Include ethical approval if involving human participants. Example: "This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of University X (No. 2025/07/03)."
6. References
- Minimum 40 references.
- Composition: Minimum 30 titles from International Reputable Journals. 80% primary sources. Minimum 50% from reputable international journals.
- Recency: Last 5–10 years (except classic reference books).
- MUST include DOI for journal articles.
- Use reference manager (Mendeley/Zotero) with APA Style 7th Edition.
- Arrange alphabetically.
7. Appendix / Supplementary Material (Optional)
Interview guides, research instruments, additional data.
D. Technical Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt throughout (except specific parts).
- Spacing: Single spacing.
- Tables and Figures: Include title and number. Provide source. Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt (title), 10 pt (source).
Reference formatting example (APA 7th)
