PENGENDALIAN REJECT CONTAMINATION ON MARKING PADA PROSES MARK SCAN PACK (MSP) DENGAN PENDEKATAN SIX SIGMA (Studi Kasus di PT. Infineon Technologies Batam) THE CONTROL OF REJECT CONTAMINATION ON MARKING OF MARK SCAN PACK PROCESS (MSP) BY SIX SIGMA APPROACH (Case Study in PT. Infineon Technologies Batam)
Abstract
PT. Infineon Technologies Batam merupakan perusahaan manufactur yang merakit dan memproduksi IC yang digunakan untuk mesin automotive. Perusahaan berlokasi di Batamindo Industrial Park- Muka Kuning, Batam-Indonesia. Dalam menjalankan produksi dan minimal target yield dari management, perusahaan mengalami permasalahan yaitu rendahnya/ tidak tercapainya target yield management pada salah satu station kerja. Kecacatan produksi diakibatkan oleh proses di Trimform akibat design Roller Press Tube yang menekan tube terlalu dalam sehingga ketika unit akan masuk ke tube mengakibatkan adanya gesekan pada pakage yang sudah di marking. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengurangi kecacatan sehingga terjadi peningkatan yield melebihi standart minimal yield dari management.Pengendalian Reject Contamination On Marking pada proses Mark Scan Pac (MSP) dengan Pendekatan Six Sigma dengan melakukan analisa terhadap akar permasalahan dan melakukan DOE (Design Of Experimen) untuk mencari setting terbaik yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan sehingga permasalahan dapat dikurangi atau ditanggulangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yield dari 97,64 % menjadi 97,80% dan level sigma naik dari 4 <σ< 5 menjadi 5 <σ< 6. Solusi perbaikan yang diusulkan adalah Re-design Roller Press Tube dan menuangkannya dalam pFMEA serta mendokumentasikannya sehingga masuk dalam kegiatan Preventive Maintenance dan kejadian tidak berulang dalam pelaksanaan produksi selanjutnya.

PT. Infineon Technologies Batam is a manufacturing company that assembles and manufactures ICs that are used for automotive engines. Company is located at Industrial Park- Batamindo Muka Kuning, Batam-Indonesia. In the production run and a minimum yield targets of management, the company is having problems, namely the low / not achieving the target yield management at one work station. The disability caused by production process due to design Trimform Roller Press Tube pressing tube so deep that when the unit will enter the tube lead to friction in the pakage already in marking. The aim of the research to reduce disability resulting in increased yield exceeding the minimum yield of management. Contamination Control Reject On Marking on the process Mark Scan Pac (MSP) with a Six Sigma approach to analyzing the root causes and conduct DOE (Design Of Experiment) to find the best settings related to the problem so that the problem can be reduced or mitigated.The results showed an increase in yield from 97.64% to 97.80% and the sigma level rise of 4 <σ <5 to 5 <σ <6. The solution proposed improvement is Re-design Roller Press Tube and put it in the PFMEA and documenting so it makes the Preventive Maintenance activities and events are not repeated in subsequent production operations.
